***Rachel Chen

Rachel Rui Qi Chen was born in Singapore and graduated with Diploma in Biomedical Science at Ngee Ann Polytechnic in 2015 . During her time there, she studied Ect2 proto-oncogenes in Breast Cancer Cell lines and worked at Danone Nutricia on gut microbiota in toddlers.  She  completed a Bachelor of Science ( Microbiology) at the University of Queensland in 2016 , before embarking her honours year  at Prof. Geoffrey J. Faulkner lab in 2016, studying the characterization of  LINE-1 in dopamingeric neurons.
